Flood Disaster in Ghana! 06.29.2026

flooding1.jpg

Relief and repair efforts are underway

Severe flooding has struck Accra, leaving families, churches, roads, homes, and ministry spaces affected by rising water and flood damage. Many people are facing urgent needs with very limited emergency help available, and some have lost nearly everything they own. We do not yet know the full extent of the damage or the cost of repairs, but we know this is a moment to respond with prayer, mercy, and practical help in the name of Jesus.

Agape Gospel Mission is receiving gifts for two urgent needs: disaster relief for people affected by the flooding through the Disaster Relief Fund, and repair of flood damage at both Agape House New Testament Church and Agape Bible College, both of which sustained flood-related damage.

Disaster Relief Fund

The Disaster Relief Fund will be used to help those directly affected by the flooding, especially families and individuals facing urgent needs after this life-altering disaster. Gifts to this fund allow us to respond quickly with practical care as needs are identified.

After hours of hard work, there's still so much left to do! This photo is of the entry foyer area in the front of Agape House NT Church .

Clean up efforts are underway at Agape Bible College. The flood and heavy rain waters damaged the College, including in the library containing crucial items for the training of African pastors.
