In prayer for the New Year, the Lord has spoken to me that it will be a year of growth. I feel in my heart that He is taking us deeper in His word and in maturity, so that greater fruit will arise for His Glory. Solid, consistent growth will come as we seek Him diligently and obey Him fully. It is my prayer that you, too, will experience growth from God in every area of your life in 2009!

Church in East Legon
The Lord is richly blessing our church in East Legon! Attendance is growing and maturity is coming to our members. Souls are being saved and lives transformed. Though we are running two services on Sunday mornings we still need a larger place to meet. A new hotel conference room is under construction just minutes from our present location, and the owners have agreed to rent the hall to us for services. Please pray that the hall will be completed quickly and that there will not be any hindrance to our church moving to the new facility by March. Ask God to continue to bring in souls to the church and that the members will have a hunger for Him and His Word. Pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to be poured out in our services as we lift Him up and respond to the truth.
Teaching Ministry
The teaching ministry of Agape Gospel Mission continues to thrive as God opens new doors for the propagation of His truth. The Agape Association of Bible Schools now has 96 member schools in five nations! Churches in the Association throughout West Africa are training their members with the systematic study of the Bible we provide for them. The Agape Bible College will resume on January 20th, and the Lord is bringing in new students with zeal to be prepared for ministry. And the Television School of the Bible will be filming a new teaching series this quarter! Please pray for these three dynamic outreaches that bring truth and training to so many hungry students. Ask God for greater revelation of His Word that will result in obedience and action in the students. Pray for the release of greater financial blessings to enable us to spread the knowledge of His Word to more people in more places than ever before!
We're excited about 2009 and all the opportunities ahead for the Kingdom of God and Agape Gospel Mission. It's time to grow! Won't you join us, in prayer and with your giving, so that we can go deeper, spread further, and reach higher for His Glory? With God's help, and yours, the best is yet to come.
