Agape Academy
Education is the key to escaping poverty.
God is doing amazing things at Agape Academy! Since we launched our school for the children at the Agape Children's Home we've seen great growth in the children. Children who could not read are now reading on their own. Others who were shy and suffering from low self-esteem are blossoming with the loving, special attention they receive. Best of all, the Christ-centered environment is producing more than academic results - the children are growing in faith and character, too.
Our plan has been to expand the school from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. However, the significant progress our children in the program are making has caused us to reevaluate our goals. We now realize it is critical to give ALL of our children the benefit of learning at the Agape Academy as soon as possible. To do so, we need to build our Academy building this year, and recruit staff to join our team.
How can you get involved?
- First, please pray for the funds and workers needed, and for the project to progress smoothly and with God's blessing. We have received over $70,000 toward the Agape Academy building, yet we need a total of at least $450,000 to finish the project. Please prayerfully consider what role the Lord would have you play in the funding this vital project.
